SCACL’s latest Strategic Plan has identified the priority to develop a Housing and Home Strategy for people with developmental disabilities on the Sunshine Coast. SCACL has engaged DP Consulting to help develop a “housing road map” for the Lower Sunshine Coast. This project is funded by Inclusion BC via a Provincial Housing Needs grant from Community Living BC.
Finding the right kind of housing with the right kind of support is critical to ensuring individuals with diverse abilities to live as independently as possible and achieve their full potential. For self advocates and their families who were not able to participate in one of the Housing Needs Discussions that took place on October 12, 14, or 18, SCACL is inviting you to complete an online Housing Needs Survey by October 30.
