At SCACL, our Supported Employment Program empowers individuals with diverse abilities by offering both community-based and in-house employment and training opportunities. We focus on skill development, helping participants gain valuable employment experience tailored to their strengths and goals.

Our team works closely with local employers to create mutually beneficial employment opportunities. We provide ongoing support, including job coaching for individuals and assistance to employers as needed. SCACL currently supports over 20 individuals in 40 job placements, fostering long-term career success.

Additionally, our Job Club offers a bi-weekly group that focuses on building work habits, communication skills, and other key abilities to improve employability. The program helps participants develop a sense of community while learning vital employment skills.

SCACL also partners with Persephone Farms Ltd., giving participants the chance to gain hands-on experience and specialized training in a unique farm and brewery environment.
